Welcome to our brand new series, the KoiPond Devlog! We’re embarking on a bi-weekly journey to share with the Koi community our latest work and future ambitions. Recent weeks have seen enhancements that elevate the KoiPond experience. Our roadmap includes new features for KOI holders, listing participants, and listings; UI/UX enhancements; branding and design improvements; and numerous quality of life tweaks. This month marks a significant milestone for KoiPond, as we prepare to roll out several exciting features.

Wrap It Up

The rollout of our new token model introduces Dragon KOI (dKOI), designed to enrich KOI holders. Wrapping and unwrapping dKOI now generates fees for holders, who will soon have the option to stake KOI and KOI LP for earnings. Announcement coming soon on this.

Speed Boost

Dissatisfied with the KoiPond app's load times, we've optimized various components, resulting in a notable speed increase. The app is now more responsive, enhancing user interaction.

Average Listing Page Load (uncached): 3s → 50-100ms

Website QOL Updates

We've addressed some immediate weaknesses of our site, particularly enhancing the mobile experience with a dedicated navigation menu and responsive design improvements.

Loyalty Pays

A special airdrop has been sent to our steadfast supporters—the ones who held their Koi through thick and thin. This gesture of appreciation is proportionate to their holdings from Fjord or Uniswap, acknowledging their loyalty.
